Who we are
The Sister Slippers Foundation, Inc is a not for profit 501c3 corporation created from the heart of mom, Katie Nivens. It is her dream for every child to experience the feeling and confidence that comes from putting on a brand new pair of shoes.
Do you remember wearing a fresh new pair of shoes on the first day of school or jumping in puddles in rain boots? Putting on warm dry snow boots to play in the snow? Racing with a friend in a new pair of sneakers? These are childhood memories every child should enjoy. Sadly however, not all do. We at Sister Slippers would like to help children be able to experience precious moments such as these!
